Mason Thornton

DIRECTOR
Mason Thornton graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. At Mercer, he studied Chemical Commerce and Spanish. Mason plans on going into the medical field where he can apply his understanding of cultures and sciences to optimize service to existing patients as well as expand services to previously inaccessible patients. Mason’s favorite example of service stems from his undergraduate opportunity to serve in Peru and help local communities become educated on the dangers of burning mercury and testing for high concentrations in high traffic areas. Mason consistently volunteers with the homeless in ATL and is currently working for the Non-Profit CORE (Community Outreach Relief Effort) to provide COVID-19 testing to underserved communities around Atlanta, alongside his commitment to CEP. Mason loves cooking and understanding cultures behind cuisine and often cooks for friends and family.
