VEDANT RAUTELA

CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER
Vedant Rautela is a sophomore at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. At Northeastern, he studies Computer Science and Physics and is interested in data science. He's experienced at building software for non-profits. Vedant believes that a good education is not about learning specific facts or gaining specific pieces of knowledge, but rather, the real benefit of education is learning how to think for yourself and how to learn by yourself. The systemic inequalities that exist in education disadvantage certain groups much more than others, and can prevent people from forming these crucial skills. If we as a society really want to achieve total equality (by race, gender, nationality, or any other demographic) we need to ensure that we have education equity. In his spare time, Vedant loves playing chess and ping-pong.
